EDF Energy

EDF Energy is the new name for the merged London Electricity and Seeboard Group of companies. Their new name represents the culmination of five years work to create a major UK energy company. They are one of the largest energy companies in the UK and generate around 7% of the UK's electricity, employ 11,300 people and over a quarter of the UK population depend on them for their electricity.

EDF also supply energy to around 5 million customer accounts through our retail brands. In addition they are also one of the largest regulated and private networks operators in the UK with important contracts with BAA's Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports, the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, the London Underground and Canary Wharf.
